We have recently led applications for PP and listed building consent for a number of interesting heritage building conversions in Anglesey.
But the cream is yet to come with a major project to convert the Plas Newydd Home Farm complex to a number of high-class dwellings.
We are Local Agents for a complex planning application for a state-of-the-art 220 acre 50MW solar park.
This will be the size of 100 football pitches, and the largest in Wales which will be located in a secluded rural area south of Cemaes Bay, Anglesey, adjacent to a number of large wind turbines.
The application complies with all local and national planning policies relating to renewable energy and is formally supported by the Anglesey Energy Island Executive.
We gave a presentation to a crowded Public Meeting recently. There are some local objections and much political manoeuvring.
A large side issue is the amount of voluntary Community Benefit to be pledged by the project over its 30 year life, and who should benefit. Interesting debates on this topic !

We recently obtained the grant of planning permission for an estate of 28 dwellings (an alternative to an extant permission for 21 different dwellings) on a greenfield site in the village of Llanfechell, near Cemaes Bay.
It involved many technical challenges and a Community and Language Impact Assessment, which proved little or no impact, despite local objections to the contrary.
We are now preparing to market the site.
