We have just won a planning appeal on the former Maelog Garden Centre site near Rhosneigr, Anglesey effectively removing a condition on the planning permission requiring 3 of the 9 approved dwellings to be affordable houses.
We were able to prove by quantum argument that the development was not viable with affordable housing.
The site is now free of the condition, and we are offering it for sale.
The development, whilst started, has been abandoned since 2008.
We understand that BREXIT will have no effect on any aspect of our present UK/Wales planning law or policies.
Elfed Williams conducted two planning appeals by Hearings in the last fortnight.
One, Llechwedd Meats store in Llangefni, being an application for a A3-use café on site.
The other, a proposed dwelling in the grounds of Cae Grugog, Trearddur Bay, a grade II listed building.
For Sale - Our Client has a residential site at Garreg Fawr, Trearddur Bay, with wide views, directly adjoining Holyhead Golf Course, with draft PP for 13 dwellings (including 4AH).
Flexible Terms. Contact us for more details.
